Who are the Favourites to Win the Premier League Next Season?

With a thrilling UEFA Euro 2024 now drawing to a close, attention turns back to domestic matters and more specifically the Premier League.
The new campaign gets underway on the weekend of August 16th, and there are a number of mouthwatering clashes on the opening weekend, such as Manchester City vs Chelsea and newly promoted Ipswich Town vs Liverpool. So, with the new season just around the corner, who are the favorites to win the title?
Manchester City
Manchester City are the reigning champions after winning the last four title races on the bounce. As such, it should come as no surprise to hear that online sports betting sites have installed them as the +130 to make it five on the spin next term.
Under the astute management of Pep Guardiola, The Blues have established themselves as the dominant force in English football, and they will be among to flex their muscles once again when the 2024/25 season gets underway.

Arsenal
Arsenal have finished second in each of the last two seasons, and they will be aiming to go one better next term.
They are a close second favorite at odds of +175 and much of that hype comes from last term, where they took the title race down to the final day of the campaign. Ultimately, it was City who emerged victorious, but The Gunners are certainly on the hunt for a first title in over two decades.
Manager Mikel Arteta’s philosophy of possession-based football and high pressing has rejuvenated the team. Key players like Martin Ødegaard, and Gabriel Jesus have flourished under his guidance, while Declan Rice has added some much-needed steel to an immensely talented squad.
One of the critical factors for the North London side will be their ability to handle the increased fixture congestion that comes with other UEFA Champions League commitments. The reigning champions have much more strength in depth than their closest competitors, and the Gunners will need to bridge that gap throughout the current transfer window.
Liverpool
Judging by Liverpool’s much longer odds of +750, the title race looks to be a two-horse race this season. The Reds are in a transitional phase following the departure of Jurgen Klopp and the subsequent appointment of former Feyenoord boss Arne Slot. They managed to remain in the title race up until the last month of last season before ultimately falling by the wayside. A similar result in the upcoming campaign would be considered a success.
